Scholarship Information
The Texas Choral Directors Association annually awards scholarships both to Texas college or university music education or church music majors with 60 credit hours and a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 system, and to choral director members seeking assistance with continuing education.
TCDA will award at least six student scholarships and two professional scholarships in 2010.
Deadline for receipt of scholarship applications in the TCDA offce is April 1.
2010 Student Scholarships:
- The TCDA/Gandy Ink Student Scholarship ($1,000)
- The TCDA/Past Presidents Student Scholarship ($1,000)
- The TCDA/Carroll Barnes Student Scholarship ($1,000)
- The TCDA/Bill Gorham Student Scholarship ($1,000)
- The TCDA/Cloys Webb Student Scholarship ($1,000)
- The TCDA General Fund Scholarship(s) ($1,000 each)
2010 Professional Scholarships:
- The TCDA/Abbott IPCO Professional Scholarship ($500)
- The TCDA/Jim & Glenda Casey Professional Scholarship ($500)
